TRAVIS MCREYNOLDS

”The happiest people in life operate out of their imaginations and dreams, and not their histories.”

-Ed Mylett

There's nothing extraordinary about me—at least, not in the way the world typically defines it. Like most people, I long for peace and connection, and at my core, I simply love people. I'm a husband, a father, a former police officer, and the parent of a teenage son who died by suicide.

What sets me apart? I'm not sure I have a perfect answer to that—but I can share what I've lived through, including my own journey with neurodivergence.

As someone who understands ADHD from the inside out, I've experienced firsthand how an undiagnosed and unsupported neurodivergent mind can create chaos, overwhelm, and isolation. I believe ADHD played a significant role in my son Dru's struggle and ultimate decision to end his life—the constant battle with executive function, emotional dysregulation, and feeling misunderstood in a neurotypical world became too much for him to bear alone.

I've witnessed some of the darkest corners of human trauma. I've stood beside my son's casket less than a week after Thanksgiving, and I've spent years shoulder-to-shoulder with people who were fighting battles no one could see. Through it all, I found myself searching—desperately—for a way to survive.

Two years after Dru's death, I hit rock bottom. I was faced with a choice: give up and follow the same path my son had taken—or fight to rebuild a life I still wanted to live. In that moment, I heard Dru's voice telling me to keep going. So I did.

The journey that followed was anything but linear. It was messy, painful, and full of false starts. But I refused to quit. I held on. And eventually, the fog began to lift, revealing a deeper truth: I still had a purpose. And I was meant to live it.

With a natural gift for listening and an open heart for those in pain, I eventually discovered the life-changing power of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and the transformative coaching of Sean Smith. It was a turning point. I knew this work had the power to help others reclaim their lives.

That's why I created L.I.F.E.
